Y813 Install Driver on macOS via USB cable
Before Driver Installation
Supported model: Y813
Check the model name on the bottom label.
Please complete the following steps before installation.
Connect the USB cable
Connect the USB-A end of the cable to the adapter, then plug the adapter (USB-C end) into your computer.
Connect the power adapter
Attach the power cable to the power adapter, then connect it to the printer, and plug it into the socket.
Turn ON the printer
Turn ON printer.
Download the Driver
Download the printer driver using the button below.
Install the Driver
Install Driver on macOS
Follow the steps below to complete the driver installation.
Open the downloaded file
Double-click the downloaded driver file to start the installation.
Handle the security warning
If a warning appears, click "OK" or "Done" to dismiss the message.
Allow the installer
Open System Settings > Privacy & Security, then click "Open Anyway". If more warning prompts appear, continue choosing the option that allows the installation.
Continue installation
In the installer window, click "Continue".
Install the driver
Click "Install" to begin installing the driver.
Finish
After the installation is completed, click "Close" to exit.
Check the Printer in System Settings
Finish installation and add the printer if needed
After the installation is completed, check whether the printer appears in Printers & Scanners.
Finish installation
When the installation is completed successfully, click "Close".
Open Printers & Scanners
Open "System Settings" and click "Printers & Scanners".
Add the printer
If the printer is not listed, click "Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax...".
Choose printer software
Select the USB printer, click the "Use" menu, then choose "Select Software...".
Select the driver
Choose "4Inch Label Printer", then click "OK".
Confirm success
When "Y813 Label" appears in the list, the printer is installed successfully.
