Y813BT Install Driver on Raspberry Pi via USB cable

Before Driver Installation

Supported model: Y813BT

Check the model name on the bottom label.

Model: Y813BT

Please complete the following steps before installation.

Connect the USB cable

Connect printer to your computer via USB cable.

Connect the power adapter

Attach the power cable to the power adapter, then connect it to the printer, and plug it into the socket.

Turn ON the printer

Turn ON printer.

Download Raspberry Pi USB Driver

Please download the Raspberry Pi driver and run the installer using the steps below.

Download the driver

Click the button below to download the driver.

Download Driver Backup Google Drive

If the download is blocked by the webpage, please use the Google Drive link instead.

Run the installer

sudo sh /home/ben/Desktop/LabelPrinter-Linux-Driver-Latest_Ver1.1.1.run

Open Terminal, run the command above, then enter your password if prompted.

NOTE: Make sure the .run file has been downloaded to your Desktop first.

NOTE: This Raspberry Pi driver is for Raspberry Pi OS / Linux devices.
Keep the printer connected by USB during installation.

Add Printer on Raspberry Pi

Follow the steps below to add the printer after installing the Raspberry Pi USB driver.

Open Print Settings

Go to Preferences > Print Settings.

Click Add

In Print Settings, click Add.

Select the USB printer

Choose your USB printer, then click Forward.

Choose the brand

Select YXWL from the brand list, then click Forward.

Choose the model

Select Y813BT and the recommended driver, then click Forward.

Apply the settings

Confirm the printer information, then click Apply.

NOTE:

the printer connected by USB during setup. After the printer is added, you can print a test page from Print Settings.
